For I know that my Redeemer lives, and at last he will stand upon the earth.

I will be his father, and he shall be my son; I will not take my steadfast love from him, as I took it from him who was before you.

Whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

For I know the plans I have for you, says the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Then I will lead you through the middle of Judea, till you come to Jerusalem; and I will set your throne[a] in the midst of it; and you will lead them like sheep that have no shepherd, and not a dog will so much as open its mouth to growl at you.

How great is the Lord’s mercy! How quickly is he reconciled with those who turn back to him!

So you see that from generation to generation, no one who continues to trust God will lack strength.

“Take courage, my daughter! May the Lord of heaven grant you joy in place of your grief! Take courage, my daughter!”

The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.

But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold.

For forty years you sustained them in the wilderness; they lacked nothing, their clothes did not wear out nor did their feet become swollen.

David and all the house of Israel were dancing before the LORD with all their might, with songs and lyres and harps and tambourines and castanets and cymbals.

In that day they will say, “Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the LORD, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation.”

For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised.

Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.”

For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water; and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

And you, O tower of the flock, hill of the daughter of Zion, to you shall it come, the former dominion shall come, the kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem.

And the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD.

The light of Israel will become a fire,and his Holy One a flame; and it will burn and devour his thorns and briers in one day.

It is the LORD who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.
